New Year....
As the old year bagan to end, I thought of ending it with a bang. So I started thinking as what can I do to make it a special one.
There was not much I could get in my head. Suddenly I remembered that I had approached my classmates for Celebrating the New year in class, as this was going to be our final year we could spend together.
So me and some friends firmly decided and I messaged all my classmates regarding that.
The so called new year party started, not with a big bang, not even with a bang, but was quite cool.
I went with my co-CR to the principal and HOD to invite them.
After they left the original party started. I made it a point to make this new year as memorable as it can be.
So i brought my music system as one of my friend had brought lappy.
Our party started by distributing cakes, drinks, puffs to the girls. Then the original thing began.... The boys thing. Applying cake makeup to each other's faces, hitting them with puffs & cakes, and most of all, the cooldrink spill on faces , hairs etc. I was the one who got the most gifts of cakes, drinks and puffs.
I was looking like a cake man...........
To add the excitement I took the challenge of Dancing on the floor for one complete song for which would have won some prize....
i accepted it and danced continuously for 30 min. I knew I wouldn't get it, but I was excited since it was my last year. I was so enjoying that I couldn't stop myself.
One of my friend's even asked me whether I was drunk.. Ha Ha. Upto that extent I enjoyed....
Every New year it happens like this. Whenever I enjoy during the day, I get bored during that night ie on 31st.
The same thing happened to me on 31-Dec-2005. I enjoyed that day the most, and now this ie.31-Dec-2010.
Oh! my god I cannot forget that year 2005.... It was my most memorable year....
Coming back, that night i got to know that the results would be out by 1800. But that website was so busy that I couldn't even open it the day after.
I called my friend and asked about the result. He said that I passed and couldnt reveal my marks....
I was happy but still not satisfied. I couldn't sleep, so I went to the ground where the cricket match was going on. It was a night match which was organized on every 31st Dec.
Was there till 0400. When I got to know my marks I was not happy as I was expecting much higher at least 80%. But I could end up only with 72.6%.
When I heard about the marks of others I was much more angry on JNTU's correction pattern. Because many of them got much higher marks. The highest was 87%....!!!!
The only thing I regretted that, that asshole got 84%, and me?..
All happened because of Single Correction pattern which is worst compared to the usual dual correction pattern.
Swati scored 79.9.
My average fell from 73.4 to 73.2.
I aimed of getting it to 75..
May be the next semester I could get that, Thats what I said to myself and also my mother and my lecturers....
But truly Luck is the most important thing besides knowledge...
Some time even it dominates knowledge....
